" This week marks my 10th year at Google.
Starting as country manager to becoming Director leading Google's business in West Africa, it's been an amazing 10years.
Their most exciting part of my work has been seeing the impact of our offerings on people's lives across Africa.I am also proud of the work we have done in helping to create a vibrant and viable digital ecosystem.
During these 10years, the team at Google has trained over 5million people through the digital skills program, trained thousands of developers, and created customized products and programs that reflect the unique needs and culture of African users.
The Google for startups program has provided mentoring and support to hundreds of tech startups in Africa,with an impressive alumni list that includes trendsetting firms like Flutterwave,Paystack,Kuda and others.
Our google impact challenge and economic recovery initiatives have provided millions of dollars in grants to SMBs and social enterprises across the continent.
Thanks to my amazing colleagues for your contributions to building for the next billion users and showing the transformational impact of technology. And to all our partners and friends across Africa--here's to the next decade where Africa will be at the forefront of the digital revolution ".
